Separated from Bravellir by a forbidding mountain range, the lands of Kryviczy are poorly known even to their neighbours. Warlords and rival chieftains hold sway over the common folk while strange and often terrible things lurk in the dark places.
Stories from this forbidding corner of the world tell of deadly beasts roaming the forests and weather that can turn an unprepared traveller to ice in minutes; the people are little less dangerous, raised from birth to be tough and ruthless fighters in their battle against the perils of the wild. Yet there are also tales of hidden riches, glades where the very air is thick with magic, and shamans whose bond to the spirit world is as strong as that of any Arginese witch.
