Retainers, servants and functionaries of noble houses will also tend to be dressed well and brightly. Their noble employers want them to make the House look good and will often provide gifts of clothes and accessories to their underlings. Don’t feel the need to look like a stereotypical peasant, but of course, it wouldn’t do to be better dressed than your liege…
